Mission Statement

Welcome > Ministries > Mission Statement

In the continuous process of living and breathing as a Church body, Holy Cross has adopted the following Values and Mission Statement at the last Voter’s Assembly on 3/21/04. The values and mission statement themselves do not create a plan. They provide the foundation on which we build. All of the coming planning in the month ahead will be based on these values and mission statements.

Critical Targets

Congregational Goals and Critical Targets for 2004-2014

From the Congregational Leadership Forum, held January 16-1, 2004, led by Les Stroh, 80 of our members gathered and prayed and worked together Friday evening and all day Saturday. The values and mission were created, but also those areas that we need to focus on as a congregation. These critical targets represent where we need to make significant impact in order to effectively pursue our mission. More importantly these represent the members view on what our Lord is calling us to do.

  • Spiritual Gifts
Help each other identify our spiritual gifts and apply them to the ministry of Holy Cross.
  • Community Connection
Connect to our community where needed to build up people in faith and life.
  • Faith Life Development
Develop all ages spiritually in their daily application of faith.
  • Family Faith Living
Equip families to nurture spiritual growth together.
