Music has been an integral aspect of worship from the beginning of time. Holy Cross celebrates our relationship with God through a variety of worship styles and music. All of them involve those who lead and those who sing!
There are many ways for you to connect to Holy Cross through music. Our entire Music Ministry is under the direction of our Director of Worship.
The Adult Choir helps to lead our Sunday worship with classic and uplifting songs of worship. Practices are Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, and there are opportunities for both the Men’s Choir and Women’s Choir from time to time.
The Children’s Choir involves children from 3’s to 6th grade, singing joyfilled praise songs. Practices are on Sundays during the FaTHoM Discipleship hour at 9:45 AM.
The Handbell Choir involves teens and adults in ringing praises to God. Practices are Sundays at 7:30 PM.
New Song and Creative Praise Bands
Involving the gifts and talents of many instrumentalists and vocalists, the New Song and Creative Praise Bands help to lead our Saturday evening “New Song” contemporary worship and our Sunday “Creative Praise” worship.
New Song practices at 4:30 on Saturdays, and the Creative Praise team practices on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 9:00 AM.
Creative Praise Contemporary Worship is under the leadership of Abbie Stancato, Director of Creative Praise.
Our orchestra collects, rehearses and performs for for festivals and special events.
Young musicians can enhance worship through our Youth Band, which practices bi-weekly at 5:30 PM on Wednesdays when Confirmation and Genesis are in session.
