Trunk or Treat – October 24 6:00pm
October 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pmFree
FaTHoM Wednesday “Trunk or Treat” is October 24th: Please join us for some Bible-themed fall fun on Wednesday, October 24th from 6:00-7:30 p.m.! Regularly scheduled Wednesday FaTHoM classes meet as usual; students will end their classes early and report to the Crossing to begin “Trunk or Treat.” Adult FaTHoM guides will lead their groups through the parking lot and meet back in the Crossing at 7:25 p.m. for costume judging. This would be a good evening to invite family and friends who aren’t normally at FaTHoM to join us, both for the lesson and for the Trunk or Treat time.
Parents and Adults: We need volunteers to host trunks and bring candy! No pressure- you are welcome to stand at the back of your car and pass out candy, or you can “go big” and decorate your trunk! (The kids LOVE this!!) Candy, snacks, and non-candy items would be much appreciated! If you choose to dress up and/or decorate your trunk, please keep in mind that we do not do “scary” Halloween décor…our theme is Bible-based and family-friendly! Please RSVP to Sarah Derringer at firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to host a trunk!
Students: Students should come dressed in their costumes with a bag for candy! Costumes should be Bible-themed, such as a character or concept from the Bible. Feel free to be as creative as you wish, but please remember that we have all ages participating and we do not do “scary” costumes (so no devils, please). Pinterest is full of simple DIY religious costumes and full-out complicated ideas you can use!
