SUNDAYS starting January 8, 2017

Sunday 9:45am Revelation to St. John

For many, St. John’s Revelation is a complicated book of mystery and hidden messages, but for the first readers it was an amazing book of hope and assurance. This Bible Study will help you discover the same messages in this final book of the New Testament. Led by Scott Jung.

Sunday 9:45am The Story is an abridged walk through God’s Word, helping us see the Bible as one continuous story that points us to Jesus, our Savior. Having begun The Story last fall, we now continue our journey with the conclusion of the Old Testament and the ministry of Jesus and His apostles. Join us, even if you missed the first half! Led by Pastor Sattler.
Sunday 9:45am The Gospel-Centered Life. Lots of Christians talk about the gospel, but how many really understand the gospel and know how to apply it to their lives? Featuring nine self-contained lessons with discussion questions, articles, practical exercises, and comprehensive leader’s notes in the back, The Gospel-Centered Life helps participants understand how the gospel shapes every aspect of life. Led by Pastor McClean.

WEDNESDAYS starting January 11, 2017

Wednesday 6:00 p.m. Entrusted. Final words can be compelling. In Paul’s final letter, he charged Timothy, his beloved son in the faith, to not be ashamed to fulfill God’s call on his life. In this 6-session Bible study, Beth Moore challenges you to do the same. Led by Michelle Searcy.
Wednesday 6:00 p.m. How We Got the Bible. Have you ever wondered who wrote the books in your Bible and how they ended up together? Has anyone ever told you that some books were cut out of the Bible or that the stories of Jesus in the Gospels can’t be trusted? Through these six sessions, Dr. Timothy Paul Jones will answer your questions about how we got the Bible. Led by Scott Jung.
Wednesday 6:00 p.m. Joining Jesus on His Mission will alter the way you see your life as a follower of Jesus and take you beyond living your life for Jesus to living life with Jesus. Simple, powerful and applicable insights show you how to be on mission and recognize where Jesus is already at work in your neighborhoods, workplaces and schools. You will feel both relief and hope. You may even hear yourself say, “I can do this!” Led by Brandon Grelle.
Wednesday 6:00 p.m. Solo Studies. Each night will be a stand-alone topic that will allow you to pop in for a Bible study and discussion that will grapple with some interesting topic. Look for a list of upcoming Solo studies in next month’s newsletter.
