is an opportunity for you to give your family the gift of peace of mind.
April 29, 2017
Holy Cross Lutheran Church Great Room
The day is free and sponsored by our Holy Cross Foundation.
A “Resurrection Workshop” is a panel discussion with experts in end-of-life issues to give participants an opportunity to make significant decisions about topics like medical care at life’s end, burial preplanning, funeral/memorial services, and wills/trusts. The “Resurrection Workshop” is an opportunity for you to give your family the gift of peace of mind.
Guest presenters, each with expertise in their area, will share valuable information about areas you should think about.
Last year’s presenters were:
Jan Smith is a funeral director at Flanner & Buchanan who will speak about funeral planning, burial & cremation
Rodney Retzner, is an attorney, who will speak about wills, estates & medical power of attorney
Cheryl Snyder is a Stephen Ministry Leader and a hospice nurse who will discuss “5 Wishes” and end-of-life issues.
Rev. Philip Krupski is a Gift Planning Counselor for LCMS Foundation, who will discuss Gift Planning
Rev. John Sattler will discuss funeral service planning.
In this next Resurrection Workshop, we are planning to include a presentation about what younger families should consider when planning for the future.
You are invited to join us for this opportunity to be informed about these important issues that will need to be decided as we prepare to be with God for all eternity.
It might sound like something only “old people” would want to attend, but it’s designed for all ages & situations in life.
It is our responsibility to our families to plan for these situations.
There is something for all stages of life, so don’t think that you need to be a senior to attend.
Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to the church office by completing the online registration form, (CLICK HERE) , or by emailing the Church Office, firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 823-5801.Click HERE to Register
