Enrollment eligibility for a class at Holy Cross Lutheran School is based upon a child’s age on September 1 of the school year being registered for, and/or the child’s developmental level. Early enrollment (children younger than the age requirement for a specific program) will not be granted for children in preschool through the first grade. Children may, however, be older than the stated age for a given program, due to parent/teacher assessment of developmental level and program appropriateness.
Application and enrollment information for the upcoming school year is made available in early January. Open enrollment for new students begins in mid-January, following re-enrollment of current students and their siblings. The number of new students accepted is dependent upon the number of current students returning. As class sizes are limited, we maintain a waiting list once a class is full. The waiting list will be contacted in order, should an opening occur.
Holy Cross Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.
