In addition to academics, Holy Cross Lutheran School offers a series of additional enrichment programs for students.
Our school has planned a summer program for children ages three through those who have completed grade three. Summer Camp is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Each day is filled with many new and exciting learning activities including a Bible story.Go to Summer Camp
Chapel services for all elementary (kindergarten and above) students are held in the church every Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Preschool chapel is held twice per month, on Thursdays and Fridays, at 9:00 AM both days.
Chapel services are led by one of the pastors, DCE’s, teachers, the school administrator or principal, or older students. All students participate in many ways, including lighting of the candles, readings, and singing. We encourage family and friends to worship with us. Chapel offerings are taken and forwarded to different recipients each month.
Afternoon with the Arts
Afternoon with the Arts is offered for students in grades 1-4. Instructors from the community provide lessons for a 10 week period on Wednesdays from 2:50-3:40.
Offerings include Creative Dramatics/Theater, Art, Engineering, Dance, Knitting, Technology and Language Arts/Math Enrichment.
Our Church & School Library is in The Crossing, and is open Monday through Friday during school hours, as well as on Sunday morning from 9:15 am to 10:45 am. You may also request access to the school library on weekdays by stopping in the school office. The Holy Cross Library is now part of the Indianapolis Public Library System and you may use the same catalogue to search and find resources at Holy Cross. To have your Marion County Library Card entered into the Holy Cross system, stop by the Library. That way when you search the catalogue, Holy Cross will appear as one of your locations.Go to the library
