Summer Adult Sunday Bible Class Book Study.
“Getting to Know Jesus”
How can you possibly understand all that the Bible teaches? Getting to Know Jesus connects the dots between knowing the right Bible answers and having a real relationship with Jesus Christ. The story and teachings of the Bible are designed to lead and connect you to Jesus – the Son of God. The book draws on the author’s personal experience as a pastor by presenting: • A clear understanding of how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ • A user-friendly explanation of six core teachings of the Bible • Practical ways to talk about your faith in Jesus with family and friends Getting to Know Jesus will help you discover a deeper meaning in worship, prayer, Bible study, and personal devotions and be more deeply connected to Jesus. Begins Sunday, June 4. Books will be available to purchase: $16; Kindle: $3.99
FaTHoM Wednesday will take a break during the summer, to resume on August 23.
Women’s Bible Study
Please join us in a Women’s Bible Study this summer! We will be working through “The Armor of God” by Priscilla Shirer. The study will meet on Monday evenings, from June 26 through August 7 (7weeks), from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The format for the study will be a video each week, followed by 5 daily lessons to complete at home. There will be time to discuss the learnings from the previous week prior to watching the video. Please contact Michelle Searcy to register, and to order a study guide ($13). You may reach her at email@example.com or through the school office at 826-1234.

- Leftover paint (neutral or bright colors preferred)
- Leftover craft supplies (beads, sequins, scrapbook or craft paper, crayons, pom poms, feathers, etc.)
Items may be dropped off at the VBS table display in The Crossing. Thank you for helping us reach little ones for Jesus!
Sunday, June 11, Noon
Join us to help get everything ready for Vacation Bible School the week of June 12-16. We’ll be decorating the Worship Center and other areas of the building and could use your help! We’ll provide pizza for lunch.
We will also have a short volunteers meeting especially designed for those volunteering as guides so they know what to expect that week. We’ll meet in the Worship Center at Noon.
Our school has planned a summer program for children ages three through those who have completed grade three. Children must be potty trained. The activities are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Each day is filled with many new and exciting learning activities including a Bible story. The cost of our summer camp is $20 per day for each child. For more, CLICK HERE…
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Dorcas Group (craft group) is going to start a Prayer Shawl Ministry.
In the past, shawls have come to symbolize shelter, peace and spiritual sustenance. The ministry’s message of caring is simple, universal and enduring. Prayers are given for the recipients of each shawl. As we are just starting out, we are asking anyone who can knit, crochet or sew to please consider helping us so we can have a number of shawls to present to those in need. We have patterns, yarn and fabric that we can provide or you can use your own. Once we have a number of shawls on hand, we will be accepting requests for them. Any questions, please call or email Carol Fiess at 317-336-2289 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
