Marriage Encounter Weekend

Here is an opportunity to strengthen your relationship as husband & wife!
Holy Cross will be hosting another Marriage Encounter retreat on April 5-7, 2019. This is an opportunity for you and your spouse to spend focused time on your walk with God and His involvement in your relationship. Speak with Bob & Rosie Meister (rgmeister@comcast.net) for more information, or go to hclc.info/encounter

Midweek Lenten Services

You are invited to join us each Wednesday through April 10 at 6:30 p.m. for our Midweek Lenten Services as we intentionally focus on our relationship with Jesus. We are exploring The Ten Commandments to discover what God’s intent was for giving us those particular commands. We will come to see that the Commandments are just a perfect description of what God’s love looks like for us. As Paul wrote to the Romans “Love is the fulfilling of the Law” Romans 3:10.
We will reflect on a Commandment each week to discover how it is an expression of God’s love and how Jesus lived it out perfectly. This week we will learn about the 4th Commandment.

Easter Baskets

Impact a local child this Easter! Buckets are available in the Crossing to take home and fill with all things “fun and Easter” a family would be blessed to receive. Buckets must be returned to the “Be The Church” corner in the Crossing by April 7. They will then be given to students at Trinity Lutheran School and families served at The Sharing Place.

Help Children’s Sunday School Fill Baskets!

As a Sunday School, we are filling as many Easter Baskets as we can! We are asking each child to bring a little something to add. Nora suggested a small puzzle, Amelia suggested some Easter socks. Mrs. AC says, “That Target $ Aisle is a gold mine!” What could your child bring to contribute? Questions? Email Mrs AC or call Mrs Soffietti 317.625.6825.
