A new Adult Study of the Bible will begin this Sunday (9:45am) called "Living Generously" about the challenges we face to live with a selfless, giving attitude towards our things and our time. God has called us to "Love our neighbor as our self." What does that look like… really! Why does God need our money? Join us in Room 133, for this 4 week study based on a video series, led by Pastor Sattler.

The study on King David will continue through the end of November in the Great Room, led by Pastor McClean.

Sunday School is celebrating Sprinkle Sunday this coming Sunday!! Join us at 9:45 am in the Worship Center for treats, prizes, and celebrating all the learning about God’s Word we have been doing.  We need your singing voices during on December 2nd for singing during church services.

”Operation Christmas Child”    

“Operation Christmas Child” is an international program of Samaritan’s Purse ministries that reaches some of the poorest children in the world with the joy of Christmas. Boxes full of fun things are sent to virtually every third-world country. Take a box and a flyer located at the Welcome Center or in The Crossing (or use your own shoebox), fill it with goodies, and include a personal note. Then return it by Sunday, November 18! Annual Chicago Bus Trip    

The 8th Annual Chicago Bus Trip is set for Tuesday, November 27. Cost is $60 per person and includes transportation to and from Chicago, light snacks on the bus both ways, and a chance to win door prizes. Shopping. Eating. Sightseeing. It’s your choice how you spend your day! Just don’t miss the bus to head back home! Registration forms can be found at the Welcome Center. All reservations must be prepaid and are non-refundable. ALL Women invited to Candlelight and Carols!

This free event is designed to help women of the congregation sit back on one evening in early December and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas before the hustle and bustle of the season begins to take hold. This year's event is on Thursday, December 6th starting at 6:30 pm. Invite your female friends, neighbors and family members, but make sure you register them so we have accurate numbers. Go to to sign up or use the paper sign-up on the Welcome Desk in the Great Room.  Deadline to sign up is Sunday, December 2nd. If you would like to bring your nativity set to help decorate the room, please indicate that in the "comments" section of the sign up and arrive no later than 6:00 pm to set it up. We are taking up a freewill donation of gift cards of any denomination to Mejier, Target or Wal-Mart to be given to Bethany Christian Services to help families in need this Christmas season. Hanging of the Greens

Decorating the Worship Center for the holidays will take place on Saturday, December 1, beginning at 9:00am. The more hands we have to help, the quicker it will be. No need to signup. Join us for any amount of time you can spare. 

New Staff

We are pleased to announce that Jamie Smit is joining the Holy Cross Church & School staff as our Director of Community Relations. She will help with promotions, PR, & media relations for both church and school events and programs. Jamie & her husband Mark have 3 children at Holy Cross School. Welcome to the Holy Cross family Jamie!
